3. Mt. Sinai, or Moses Mountain, is often thought of as the biblical spot where Moses climbed to receive the Ten Commandments. This thrilling and adventurous climb will take you along beautiful scenery and surroundings, leaving you with a sense of both historical significance and personal accomplishment.
4. Snorkling in general is one of the highlights of Sharm. There are many spots and areas to snorkel, and as long as you stay in the region there can really not be a bad spot to put on the mask and jump in the water. While Ras Muhammad is often considered the traditional spot for diving and snorkeling, excursions are available pretty much everywhere and are well worth it.
5. Diving is the next step up from snorkeling. The area offers several clubs that will be happy to take on all divers at all levels. Diving schools are everywhere and if you are already an expert diver you can simply rent the right equipment and jump in. For those that are more hesitant, diving tours can be found where groups take to the water with local or trained instructors who will show you around the gorgeous marvels of the underwater world around Sharm.
6. Boat rentals are available on the beaches and will allow you to take on deeper water or just cruise along the gorgeous waters of the Red Sea. You can see the city and the area from the water and take on a trip of the coast along the peninsula.
7. Car rentals are recommended for your stay in Sharm. This will help you get around pretty much everywhere and will also enable you to take on day trips to surrounding attractions and destinations.
8. Submarine trips are a great experience, even if you are an experienced diver. If you are not a diver, this might be your only chance to experience the depths of the Red Sea nad come face to face with some of the most magnificent creatures in the world in crystal blue waters and a memorable experience.
